POLICIES
Cancellation and Late Arrival Policy
We require 48 hours notice of any cancellations. If you wish to cancel an appointment, please get in touch with your clinician. No cancellation fee will be charged to appointments with more than 48 hours notice.
A short notice cancellation fee of 100% of the cost of the scheduled session will apply if:
1. Cancellations are made within 48 hours before a scheduled appointment.
2. You do not show up for a scheduled appointment within a reasonable time (15 minutes)
3. You are not present at the agreed place when a clinician is travelling to deliver support (15 minutes)
Late arrival- we will not begin appointments more than 15 minutes after the scheduled time. If you are late (less than 15 minutes), we will still conduct the appointment within the scheduled time. The full scheduled fee will apply.
Telehealth
If Telehealth is agreed upon by both you and your clinician, this may be used as a medium to conduct occupational therapy sessions and gather information (including email, DocuSign and Zoom). Every effort is made to ensure that these technologies comply with the Australian Privacy Principles, Federal Privacy Legislation, and Jurisdictional Privacy Regulations that govern the electronic storage and transmission of client data.
A secure internet server for the Telehealth session will be used. Whilst data breaches can occur when using online platforms and when sharing information, Autonomy Allied Health will ensure all efforts are made to safeguard the client’s privacy and confidentiality. In the unlikely event that a data breach does occur, Autonomy Allied Health will provide open disclosure, follow up appropriately and report to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
Recording of Telehealth sessions is a violation of our confidentiality agreement and is strictly prohibited. All services will be cancelled immediately for recording or transmitting any part of the Zoom or phone session.
